| Bilawar residents stage protest | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 10: Residents of Bilawar today lodged a strong protest against Muncipal Committee Bilawar (MCB) and local MLA over the alleged embezzlements in allotment of houses under the ISHDP scheme of Government of India here outside DC office complex.
The protestors gathered outside the DC office with placards and raised slogans for seeking justice with far-off area of district kathua and demanded an inquiry into the said schemes. The protest was led by Advocate Jatinder Singh Bhadwal and Sarpanch Akhtar Ali. Both alleged that the local MLA is hell bent to give personnel benefits to their near ones. They also submitted a written complaint with the names of illegal beneficiaries in said schemes to the Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and demanded a Vigilance probe. |
