| Army to organise recruitment rally at Zorawar Stadium | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: A Recruitment Rally will be held at Zorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan (Jammu) from February 11 to 16 for candidates for the posts of Soldier General Duties for candidates of Districts Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur. It is a wonderful opportunity for the youth of these districts to get selected for a glorious career in the Army. The screening of candidates will commence at 0500 AM sharp on each day of the Rally, commencing from 11 February 2014. The Eligibility Conditions for the Soldier General Duty are as follows : Candidates should be Born Not Before : 11 February 1993 and Born Not After : 11 August 1997 (Both Days are Inclusive) and should have Passed Minimum 10th Class with 45% marks and 33% in each subject for the districts Jammu, Samba and Kathua and 10th Class Simple Pass with 33% marks for Udhampur district only.
The Daily Schedule of the Rally will be as follows (Candidates are advised to be present at the venue of the Rally accordingly). On 11 February 2014 from 0500 AM to 0900 AM for candidates of Kathua District Soldier GD. On 12 February 2014, from 0500 AM to 0900 AM for candidates of Jammu District only for Soldier GD. On 13 February 2014, at 0500 AM to 0900AM for Samba and Udhampur Districts only. Medical Examination will be conducted only for those candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Tests, Physical Measurement Test, and whose documents are in order. The Common Entrance Exam will be held at Zorawar Stadium, Sunjuwan (Jammu) on 23 February 2014.

Candidates having tattoos/Engravings of small size on the inner face of arm and dorsum of hand will be acceptable for recruitment in the Army. Candidates should report on the dates of respective districts only. |
