Middle aged ends life, another makes abortive life bid 2/10/2014 11:51:18 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb10: A middle aged (55) person committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his place in Nanak Nagar while another person made an abortive life bid. Concerned police have registered cases in both cases and have started investigation. According to police sources the deceased has been identified as Rakesh Johar son of Krishan Lal of Nanak Nagar. They said that family members found Rakesh unconscious and shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC &H) for treatment. "During hospitalization, he failed to respond the treatment," police said and added after autopsy the body was handed over to his family members for last rites. Meanwhile, a person (35) allegedly tried to end his life by jumping from a shop at Satwari Chowk.
