| Flaying 'new recruitment policy', NPSU stages protest in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: Activists of National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) criticizing the State Government for ignoring unemployed youth of Jammu region staged a demonstration at Canal Road on the very first day of assembly session. Amid slogans against recent regime, the NPSU activists assembled at canal road and staged protest flaying fresh recruitment policy alleging its as a cruel joke to educated youths. Protestors also blocked the vehicular traffic at ever busy Canal Road to register their resentment . Addressing the protestors, Partap Singh Jamwal, State President NPSU said that the youth of Jammu region have been totally ignored in all sectors by the collation govt and implementation new recruitment is totally against the rights of educated youths. He further said that this policy should be revoked as soon as possible unless the youth of Jammu region is ready to fight against this. He said that the State Government in last four years has several times announced provision of more than 2 lakh jobs but the same is confined to files only. Alleging that both ruling National Conference and Congress have failed to address the grievances of youth, he said it was National Panthers Party (NPP) MLAs who tried their best to raise the problems in the assembly to seek government's intervention in various issues like employment to youth, scholarships to students but NC-Congress government ignored the same. He also alleged that corruption in govt department is at its peak level as sitting ministers have their involvement. Partap further said that NPSU will further intensify their protests against the dictatorial, corrupt govt in coming days.
