Early Times Report Kishtwar, May 6: Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) Jammu province today held day long protest cum Dharna at Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, President of the federation. Large number of employees of whole District participated in the program where in leaders expressed concern on part of authorities for not fulfilling the genuine demands of the employees. Later the federation also submitted the memorandum to CMO Kishtwar highlighting the various demands which include immediate clearance of DPC of various categories & filling up of all vacant posts in Health & Family department as per seniority list, rank promotion of FMPHWs at par with other categories, creation of posts of District Pharmacy Officer & Block Pharmacy Officer, creation of posts of Selection Officers in all CMO offices & post of Head Assistances at Block level, the pay scale of CHOs be brought at par with Central Grades, risk allowance to all categories working in Health Department, sanction of uniform & Risk Allowance to all field workers of UMCP Jammu, regularization of all pending cases of Adhoc/Contractual and consolidated employees and 2 ½ days pay allowance be released in favour of all non gazette employees including ministerial staff. Among the prominent who address the gathering include Vinod Sharma, Mohammad Amin Zarger, Mansoor Ahmed, Javed Iqbal, Ajeet Sharma, Abid Hussain, Gulnaz Parveen, Shahida Akther and Darshana Devi. |
