Vijaypur, May 6: Samba Police today slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) against two hardcore criminals involved in drug peddlers as well as facilitators of bovine Smuggling and were found involved in number of criminals cases.
According to police, Public Safety Act (PSA) was slapped on two accused namely Sanjeev Kumar alias Deepu s/o Mulkh Raj r/o Ward- 03 Bari Brahmna and Vipan Kumar Gupta alias Jhony s/o Sat Paul Gupta r/o Ward -06 Bari Brahmna for their involvement in number of criminals cases. "They not only created multifarious law and order problems but also were disturbing the peace and tranquility in the area, police said adding, "the duo was forming a gang of criminals, expanding it and became a role model for the youth who are interest in indulging in criminal activities and could go to any extent in order to spread their criminal activities, if they were allowed to go scot free. Police said, "Accordingly, in order to put an end to their activities, Samba Police compiled all the Police record of above said accused persons from various Police Stations of District Samba and other Districts, prepared their dossiers and got issued their warrants of Public Safety Act from R K Verma, District Magistrate, Samba to prevent them from indulging in prejudicial criminal activities. A PSA warrant against Sanjeev Kumar alias Deepu S/O Mulkh Raj R/O Ward -03 Bari Brahmna executed today by Samba Police and he was sent to District Jail Jammu, police added. |
