| ADC Reasi for strict action against encroachers | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 6: Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri has directed the Municipality authorities to take strict action against the encroaches and against those who had made constructions/ making constructions without the permission from the competent authorities. He also directed the Executive Officer (EO) to prepare the list of those who have executed constructions illegally and without Municipality permission and take strict action against them. In this connection Saleem Malik had convened a meeting of the Municipal Committee officials in the Conference Hall on Monday and warned the officials for strict action against those among them who will fail in executing their duties with sincerity and dedication.
He also directed the MC officials to make all the main markets encroach free so that the commuters may not face any difficulties. He also directed them to make full arrangements of proper cleanliness in the lanes and bazars during ensuing summer season.
Pertinent to mention here that the Municipal Committee Rajouri has become almost non-functional and frequent encroachments in the bazars even by the shopkeepers were made during day times creating lot of problems for the commuters.
Illegal constructions/encroachments have also made on the Municipality land in nexus with its officials have also added pressure on the working of MC smoothly. |
