| House construction material distributed among affected families | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 28 : In a first step of its kind after recent flash floods and incessant rains that played havoc in state and completely damaged more than 3300 houses in Rajouri district, Ramakrishna Mission today distributed house construction material among homeless families in far flung Budhal area of Rajouri district. As per reports with the help of Budhal united front a team of Ramakrishna mission was camping in Budhal area of Rajouri which accessed the damage caused by rainfall and flash floods in Budhal villages as well as some villages of Mahore tehsil of Reasi district after which a damage report was submitted by the team to the higher chairpersons of the mission. With an aim to help the affected families in construction of their damaged house beside providing them relief material , Ramakrishna mission today distributed more than 1700 steel roof sheets and 850 cement bags among as many as 85 flood affected families of Budhal and Mahore. House construction material was distributed among these affected families during a programme held in Budhal under the supervision of Secretary Ramakrishna Mission , Nirantranda Ji Maharaj while Budhal united front chairman Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi , Tehsildar Kotranka Israr Ahmed Mir, SHO Vishal Manhas , Shahnawaz Khaki , Gulzar Qazi and others were present. Budhal united front chairman, Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi while thanking Ramakrishna mission said that the effort taken by mission is highly appreciable as they are proving shelter to homeless families. He also appealed other NGOs to also concentrate on the distribution of house construction material beside relief material among the affected families. |
