| KIDF urges for fairness in relief, rehabilitation of flood affected people | | | SRINAGAR, Sept 28: Kashmir Industrial and Development Forum has demanded that Governor's rule should be imposed in the state so that there is no bungling in the relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people. In a statement, the Forum Chairman Mohammad Shameem said that the imposition of Governor's rule is imperative so that the flood affected people get all possible while as the non-deserving are kept at bay. He also demanded that relief material from foreign countries should be allowed to reach affected people under the principle of humanism. Shameem castigated the role of Auqaf and said that the authority failed to come to the rescue of the flood affected people of the state. He said despite having millions of rupees at their disposal the Auqaf people did not spend a single penny on the relief and rehabilitation measures for the flood affected people of Jammu & Kashmir. |
