| Jagti residents hand over relief to BJP leaders for flood victims | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: The residents of Jagti Township today handed over relief to BJP leaders from flood victims of state. According to press release, they collected a donation of Rs 10,000, dry ration for the victims of recent flash floods in the State. The goods including cash amount were handed over to Secretary, State Election Campaign Committee Sat Sharma (CA). The programme was held under the supervision of Triloki Nath Pandit. The senior BJP leader was also accompanied by State Spokesperson BJP Lalit Moza, State Office Secretary Naresh Dogra, Senior Leader Moti Lal Koul and State Convenor Human Rights Cell Dr. Tahir. Sat Sharma has appreciated the efforts of the residents of Jagti and said that the material contributed by the people for the victims of recent flash floods will help in the survival of many families who are finding it difficult to cope up with their basic necessities. He also stated that Kashmiri Pandits living in Jagti area who once were residing in Kashmir truly feels the pain and sufferings of the victims of floods in Kashmir region and their old acquaintance to the valley inspired them to contribute a large quantity of relief material for the victims.
Triloki Nath hailed the residents of Jagti Township for contributing a big part from their side to help the victims of flash floods in the State. |
