| Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation organizes free medical camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation today on the occasion of birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh organized a free Ayurvedic medical camp in collaboration with Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, Directorate of ISM at Shaheed Bhagat Singh chowk Jammu. According to press release, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation is working in J&K state to propagate the philosophy of Shaheed-e- Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru among the masses. By distributing printed material, stickers among the people we started making people aware of the philosophy of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and tried to remove misunderstanding about the martyrs. By organizing seminars followed by free medical aid camps, we created awareness about the Martyrs. Dr. Taran Singh President of SABSF welcomed all the participants with Atal Bihari Khajuria President Jewel Bazar Shopkeepers Association, Kamal K Gupta Advocate, Swarn Singh Chib President Rani Mandir Residents Committee, Brij Mehra, Amit Kumar Gupta, Pavan Kumar. Dr. Taran Singh demanded from the Govt. to declare holiday on September 28, the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Total 956 patients suffering from different ailments were examined and provided medicine free of cost during the camp.Earlier, Ashok Khajuria MLA inaugurated the camp. Speaking on the occasion he said that Shaheed-e-Azam bhagat Singh was the youth icon of the India and now more and more youth are following his philosophy of life. He appreciated the efforts of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation for popularizing the thoughts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh amoung the masses specially youth. He stressed the Government to install the full size statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk. |
