Jammu, Sept 29 : Prominent social worker and SSP (Retd) Bhupinder Singh today that girl child is God's gift and no one has right to harm a little child or take anyone's life.
While speaking at 'Save and Empower Girl Child' campaign organized by Public Relations Commission at Camp Office, Jammu, former SSP Bhupinder Singh said, "I personally think the country needs to sit up and take notice about saving the girl child. Citing various examples of woman leaders, he said that our state and country has many such examples of women who have risen from the ashes and done the country proud. He also appreciated Public Relations Commission for organizing such an event to create awareness among people about saving girl child.
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Nimrandeep Singh , MD Public Relations Commission informed that the organization would be organizing such monthly programmes at different parts in rural as well as in urban areas from the next year.
