JAMMU, Dec 30: The Mahant Bachiter Singh (MBS) Hockey Club confirmed their berth in the semifinals considering their performance in the ongoing league round of the ongoing District Jammu Hockey (under-19) Championship, organised by Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today.
In today's league tie, MBS Makhanpur Simbal blanked Sittu Club 6-0. Randeep Singh, Ramanjot Singh and Navjot Singh netted two goals each.
Other two scheduled matches of the day won by Guru Nanak Nagar Club (GNNC) and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Club Simbal.
The GNNC defeated Young Star Club Simbal 6-0. Sukhbir Singh, Simranjeet Singh and Gagandeep Singh were the scorers.
In another match, Maharaja Ranjit Club Simbal outplayed Bagh Bian Gole Gujral by a solitary goal. The only goal of the match came through Mandeep Singh.
Today's matches officiated by the technical penal comprising Joginder Singh, JS Bali, JS Reen, Balkrishan and MS Reen.
