Bivek Mathur Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 30: As the Member Parliament from Jammu and Bharatiya Janta Party's state chief Jugal Kishore Sharma counted various achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, here today, he couldn't list a single landmark which he has achieved as a MP during the past six months. A political analyst while talking to Early Times said past six months have witnessed massive campaigning by the political parties for the assembly elections. In this period, people of the Jammu-Poonch, Udhampur-Doda-Kathua and Ladakh were expecting development by the three BJP MPs including Jugal Kishore Sharma, Dr Jitendra Singh and Thupstan Chhewang. He said as far as Dr Jitendra Singh is concerned, people are happy with him after he announced to take the project of converting Saddal-Panjar village into a modern village which is an initiative of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi whereas the remaining two MPs have nothing to show to the people who exercised their franchise in favour of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Referring to a news conference which was called by Sharma at BJP office at Kachi Chawni here today, the analyst said, "Wherein he (Sharma) put a catalogue of achievements of Modi government including cutting of oil prices, deflation, constitution of SIT to bring black money back, adaptation of Make in India policy. He (Sharma) couldn't list his single achievement as he has done nothing for the Jammu region during the past six months," the analyst claimed. He said that Sharma had called the news conference to "hide his failures." "Sharma's name didn't surface when Dr Jitendra Singh was taken as MoS in PMO and same is the case now when names like Dr Jitendra Singh, Dr Nirmal Singh along with State Organizing Secretary Ashok Koul have become the subject of discussions for the post of Chief Minister while Sharma is finding no space due to his failure on ground to deliver," the analyst claimed. |
