Jammu, Dec 30: Alert neighbours today caught a thief when he broke into the residence of one Mustaq Ahmed Beig at NITCO lane in Jammu outskirts here today.
"The accused has been identified as Khan Muksin of UP, police sources said
As per reports, the residents of the locality noticed suspicious movement at the residence of Beig and accordingly raised alarm. "The family members were not present at home when the incident took place, sources added. "Meantime the thief after hearing noises tried to escape from the spot but was caught hold off by the people, sources said, adding, " during his search the people recovered the cash and gold items valuing Rs 75 thousand from his possession." Sources said accused was later handed over to Nowabad police for further legal action. |
