Kishtwar, Dec 30: The employees of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) including Paramedics and Management Staff of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban Districts under the banner of NRHM Paramedical and Management Association (NRHM-PMA) today highlighted various long pending demands of the employees during a meeting held at Doda. While talking to "Early Times", spokesman of the NRHM-PMA, Faizan Tramboo demanded immediate regularization of all NRHM employees viz paramedics and management staff on the pattern of Rehbar-e Taleem (ReT) scheme. Beside regularization, the protestor also highlighted other demands including immediate release of rural incentives for Paramedics, Job security, health insurance and general insurance to all NRHM staff, maternity leave benefits and release of arrears, extension of time bound for casual leave from 15 days to 30 days in a year, rent charges for paramedics who are residing on private accommodation in far flung areas in the state. Tramboo and others speakers also alleged said that Government is ignoring the NRHM employees in the State since launch of NRHM scheme in 2005, the employees working under scheme are still working on temporary basis. He revealed that Govt has recently enhance the salaries of all NRHM employees of the state, the PMA demanded either the Govt should revoke this enhancement or shall enhance the honorarium of other paramedics as 14600 at par with JSN. The Association further urged the Union Health Minister, Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education and Mission Director NRHM Dr Yash Pal Sharma to look into this genuine matter. |
