'Despite objections, DSEJ publishes list of ReTs of Jammu district' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: A Rehbar-e-Talim (ReT) aspirant, who had raised objections before district commission Jammu against Registered Backward Area (RBA) certificate of another applicant in village Bamyal of tehsil Nagrota, has alleged that Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has published the tentative list, even without addressing his complaint. Ajay Kumar son of Jeet Raj resident of Bamyal has alleged that a post of ReT was advertised by the department nearly a year ago, against which he along with some other had filed applications. "Pooja Sharma wife of Joginder Sharma, who is resident of House Number 295, lane number 16, Police Colony Swaran Vihar near Durga Nagar Jammu had also filled the application form under RBA category", he alleged, adding that her name was in the top slot in the list but she was not actually having RBA certificate. "Her RBA certificate was under process and I had raised objections against her application as she is not the resident of Bamyal village and her application should not be considered in RBA category", Ajay Kumar said. He further alleged that he had submitted a complaint before Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Director School Education Jammu, Chief Education Officer Jammu, ZEO Dansal and Tehsildar Jammu. "Following my application Deputy Commissioner Jammu had deputed ACR Jammu for hearing of case which is scheduled to be held on February 24 but to my utter surprise the tentative list was published on January 26", he said. Raising finger over the working of DSE, he further alleged that the list of Jammu, Kishtwar and Doda was published in a lesser known newspaper according to order DSEJ/RET/24044, in which DSE had sought objections. "Instead of publication of the list of Jammu in leading dailies of Jammu, list was published in some lesser known newspaper, due to which I had failed to submit another objection", he said. He further alleged that there was strong nexus going on in Rehbar-e-Talim section of DSE, which was responsible for publication of list in some lesser known newspaper. When contacted, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Jammu, JK Sudan he said that the applicant could submit objections afresh. "As I have recently joined as CEO Jammu and will look into the matter. The lists of ReTs are published by Director School Education and I cannot comment on their order", he said, adding that but the applicant has every right to file objections once again. |
