Jammu, Aug 7: Ascend Telecom company-J&K Circle in collaboration with Floriculture department Jammu today organized Plantation drive here at Public Park in Jammu. "Plant and plan for better tomorrow" the telecom company adopted the motto Go Green…. with great gusto and lot of enthusiasm. In this event various varieties of plants like Cyperus , Royal Palm , Ashoka Tree , China Rose , Chandni , Ficus Benjamin & Sita Ashoka etc were planted. Director from Floriculture Department along with his team was also present on the occasion and shared the valuable tips about environment protection. An effort was also made to involve the inhabitants of the locality in environment protection & conservation. The activity was undertaken by Ascend Telecom team towards social cause under the dynamic and vibrant leadership of circle head Col (Retd) R K Dhar.
