| Political corruption leads to unfair trade of adjustment/ transfers, BJP blamed | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 7: Corruption and political involvement in government departments have made difficult for helpless employees to function and perform their duties efficiently with dedication.
Bharatiya Janta Party that made tall claims to minimize corruption from the state, itself backs corruption and play caste factor .
Its MLAs/ministers are being involved in transfers & adjustment of government employees. BJP supporters are being adjusted in favorable/comfortable post while leaving generals on their own.
One such case came into light in agriculture office Kathua that created sensation among newly appointed/adjusted Village Agricultural Extension Assistance VAEA, of district Kathua where in Retd Director Agriculture Jammu / Chief Agricultural Officer Kathua made adjustment of 244 VAEA entirely unfair and biased
It came inlime light through sources working in same office that Rs 25000 has been taken to adjust the employees in their desired posts, few of them despite adjusted in remote areas attached in head quarter, and a large number despite of having panchayat level post adjusted in remote areas of Bani and Billawar tehsil.
Unfair adjustments made by Director Agriculture before his retirement on July 31 with proposal sent by CAO Kathua, created havoc among employees who are paralyzed to stand against CEO due to hierarchy, weep outside before Agricultural association members and demand justice besides inquiry.
It is not new in the district Kathua wherein adjustments were made on the basis of political involvement and caste factor as most of the winning legislatures belonged to particular caste involve in adjustment and favorite officers are being adjusted in desired posts from that particular caste. It develops job insecurity among other employees.
When asked about unfair adjustment of VAEA, CAO Kathua, who himself came back in district Kathua within 25 days of transfer after 4 years long tenure as CAO Kathua, threw ball on the court of Directorate Agricultural department Jammu and said Director made such adjustment. He was mum about illegal attachments of few VAEA and said subordinates would perform their duties in actual place of posting. |
