| Blood donation will cost you nothing: Sham Sharma | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 4: Jahaan, in association with Rotary Club and Blood Transfusion Department, Government Medical College Jammu organized first blood donation camp here today at Rotary Club, Gandhi Nagar. The blood donation camp was organised by Sunali and Advocate Sahib Aggarwal who was also founder of Jahaan. Senior Vice President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee and former minister Sham Lal Sharma inaugurated the blood donation camp. Sham Sharma while inaugurating the camp appreciated the NGO and said that the efforts of Jahaan in organizing such events will go a long way in serving the humanity. He said blood donation is like donating life to the person who is in need of the same in case of an accident or being operated upon and we should all try to be voluntary donors, which would be our contribution towards humanity and nation. Sham Lal further said that blood donation is service to mankind adding that by donating blood you help a needy and save a precious life. He also said that blood donation will cost you nothing but it will save a life and is a most precious gift one must give for those who are in dire need of it. |
