ReT Forum highlights plight of SSA teachers 3/4/2018 11:35:21 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Mar 4: A monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers' Forum held at Udhampur under the Chairmanship of state President Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar . The meeting was attended by executive members of the Forum from all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma expressed his anguish and great concern on the plight of SSA teachers of the state who are suffering due to delay in release of their salaries for last three months due to which these teachers are unable to provide basic amenities to their family members like proper food, clothing & education facilities to their children, and medicines to their ailing parents . He said that though the education minister and finance minister have been showing their concerns to resolve the issue, but delay in releasing the salary has been putting the teachers in trauma and the government must feel their sufferings and come up with the permanent solution of this burning issue. He demanded the absorption of the SSA posts under state plan to get the SSA Salary streamlined so that thousands of teachers under SSA be saved from further mentally disturbance created by delay in releasing their salaries. He also demanded the immediate issuance of orders regarding the comprehensive Transfer policy for regularised ReTs as teachers are suffering badly as they have been working in the same schools for last more than 15 years.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
