| Jammu, Mar 5: Sulabh International Social Service Organisation (SISSO), an Internationally acclaimed NGO Working in the sanitation sector, celebrated its 48th Foundation day at Headquater of J&K Trikuta Nagar Jammu. On this occasion Anil Kumar Singh Hony. Controller J&K State Branch introduced the concept of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation which was founded in the year 1970 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Padma Bhushan an action Sociologist and Social Reformer to answer the problem of sage disposal of human excreta. He also said that Our Organisation is working in 28 States in India. Organization have constructed 10,500 public toilets which is being maintained on pay and use basis. In this meeting Sulabh Voluntaries Sunil Kumar Singh, Bishwanath Singh, Akhilesh Verma, Nancy Koul, Riyaz Ahmad Sha, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Manik Salgotra, Arun Kumar Mishra, Virander Kumar Jha, Harish Kumar, Sukhvinder Singh, Sahil, Tarsem and all centre Incharge & Social Workers were present there. |
