Jammu, Mar 17: JKGB Purmandal today organized D-FLAP under the guidance of worthy Chairman-RK Chibber at Village Pacholi, Teh Bari Brahmana District Samba with great zeal and enthusiasm. The program was also attended by the members of the SHG of the bank branch residing locally.
The participants were informed about the developments in banking Sector and latest schemes. They were also aware various modes of getting cashless transactions from banks, the safeguards to be kept in mind to prevent cases of cheating / forgery/Corruption while availing different banking facilities with special reference to use of ATM cards, mobile banking, etc. People were also educated about the fresh KYC norms including AADHAR /Pan /mobile number seeding with their respective bank accounts which is the need of the hour for the banking Sector. The branch also laid emphasis on adoption of Social Security Schemes launched by Gol on war footing ; that shall ameliorate the lot of unorganised Sector that remain deprived of such facilities. The program further stressed upon the PMJJBY & PMSBY Death claims process and the claim settled by the branch in this FY. |
