Jammu, Mar 20: One day awareness programme was organised by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Add. Director General HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of DSP Khalid Ashraf, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness camp the NCC cadets of various colleges and schools of the J&K State were given the knowledge of First Aid, fire Fighting & Rescue Techniques and live demonstration of Fire. Lieutenant Colonel BS Choudhary, Commanding Officer J&K Bn NCC highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence & SDRF and requested to conduct such awareness programmes in future also. He advised the cadets to become good human beings to serve the society by joining such organization. At least 200 NCC cadets and staff members attended the awareness programme.
The main aim of the awareness programme to facilitate the NCC cadets and staff members with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of First Aid, & Rescue Techniques. |
