JAMMU, Mar 20: Under Civic Action Programme 2017-2018, Arnia Police today organised a volleyball tournament at Govt. Higher Secondary School Allah, Arnia.
Total 08 teams participated in the tournament which was inaugurated by Sourabh Prashar, SDPO RS Pura.
Final match of the tournament was played between Rakh Arnia team and Trowa team which was won by Rakh Arnia team with the score of 25-23, 22-25, 18-25, 22-25.
RK Kotwal, SP Headquarters Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion where as S.Gurpreet Singh, Tehsildar Arnia was the Guest of Honour. Other prominent persons present on the occasion included Sheema Nabi (IPS Prob.), Ashok Chopra Principal GHSS, Allah. Inspector Deepak Pathania, SHO Arnia, Sarpanches/panches and respectables of the area. Ankush Kumar and Lokesh Kumar of Rakh Arnia team were adjudged as Best Spiker and Best Lifter of the tournament respectively.
On the occasion, Bachan Lal (Retd. Hony. Capt.) Ex. Volley ball player was specially honoured by RK Kotwal, SP Headquarters Jammu by presenting a shawl and momento for his valuable contribution to the game. Tournament was organised under the guidance of Vivek Gupta, SSP Jammu. |
