Sincere advice to BJP - 'Good-Bye' is better than to attract 'Get-Lost'
Mahadeep Singh Jamwal3/26/2018 10:57:56 PM
Conception to drop few lines on the subject germinated, when I realized that the nation stand surcharged in favor and simultaneously against Bharatiya Janata Party. In positivity the emotions are in favour of the Modi as individual character but the party he belongs to is on condemnation. The party claims it as blame game of those deprived of the power. In democracy these are the joint efforts of any party in power to come up to the expectations of his vote base and here the party is lagging behind and a hollow space has been created that is being projected as shining star. My brain storming and 'Samundar Manthan' of the party brought out that it is not the party but the elected representative of the party that are responsible for downing the party image. At the same time drunkenness of power has obsessed them to such adamancy that it has forgotten that every rise have a fall at the end. To the situation a story comes to my mind. There was an Oak tree that was very proud of it and would make fun of all the little trees and shrubs that grew around it by kidding, "All of you are so small and puny. I am so big and strong; People can see me from far away because I am so huge and have my branches spread out so well". The oak tree would also make fun of all the birds and animals that took shelter in its branches. "All of you must be thankful to me. If I decide to give myself a good shake then all of you will fall to the ground. So better behave you", it often used to say with laugh. One day there was a huge storm with heavy winds blowing across. The oak tree made fun of the small trees and tiny shrubs that struggled to keep their roots to the ground against the speedy winds. A couple of hunters decided to take shelter under the oak tree for a while. The oak tree wanted to show off his strength and shook itself upsetting all the birds and other creatures that had taken shelter causing them to fall to the ground. The hunters were surprised to see so many birds flying away from the tree and noticed how big the tree was. A few days later the hunters came in large numbers cut down the oak tree into pieces and took it away. The tree had been very proud of its appearance but finally became the reason for its downfall too. In the story Oak tree is portrayed as BJP party, birds as alliance partners, animals the criminal accommodated in the party, stooges as small trees and shrubs, the storm as feelings of the common man, wind as expected third front, and hunter as exploited voters. Accordingly the common man have decided to shake this BJP tree, cut it down to its original size of struggling days and to ground its leaders hovering in the sky on the wings of false promises, commitments and its trickery in befooling the people.
While scripting further on the subject matter, a Hindi phrase "Sare Jahan Ka Dard Mere Seeney Mein Hai" knocked and I confined the writing on the subject to my State Jammu and Kashmir. An urge to advice the representatives from BJP in my state, "Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork", the proverb came to my rescue. The proverb means don't do something yourself that causes your down fall. The proverb is an advisory in nature and much required to be well understand by the MPs, MLAs and MLCs representing BJP in J&K, who have been trusted upon by the party to take it to heights in J&K. The more confidence by the party has been bestowed upon those occupying the musical chairs in the coalition government as equal share holder. These representatives were trusted upon by the party without taking into account their literacy, efficiency and experience. The party eyeing on making the government in J&K because of high tide of Modi in 2014, even inducted many faces that had been cursing the BJP all time and were in the lap of opposition parties of BJP. All goodies required to be a best representative of people were overlooked by the leadership of the party and to capture the votes the party flooded a number of commitments and promises for the sufferings of people especially for Jammuites. Only Jammuites carry party's base in J&K and complete hate from Valleyites. Why advice is imperative for our representatives? Simply put, they have get off the track and forget to respect and properly nourish the very commitments and promises that were made by their party hawks especially Modi as PM of the country. They are not behaving like sensible representatives in a partnership with PDP. Respecting the commitments does not always come easy. Stress, grief, anger, happiness, and other emotions do not comfort them. They need to strive to be mindful of how their actions effect the aspirations of the common man. They need to educate themselves about delivery rather than theory to maintain balance between their supporters and opponents. They should learn to maintain a balance that will meet average needs of Jane Doe without harming themselves by their personal choices. Take care of your promises. It's the only 'Mantra' for your acceptance in the referendum. Words of a motivational speaker and author Jim Rohn, must go into the analysis of this fraternity: "We must not allow what we say or do to turn against us or create problems for us. Our actions or words must never go against us. Often we tend to blow our own trumpet which gives rise to difficult situations that we may not be able to handle. It is always better to remain humble and act wisely".
Before wrap up we can arrive at one voice that BJP fought elections in J&K on the analogy that all 'warfare is based on deception'. I dare to speak out that Jammuites are fed up with the BJP representatives as they have brought Jammu many miles back. They have proved themselves as most helpless community to bring easement for the common man from discrimination with no sensitivity in their discourse. The delivery of our representatives in respect of Jammu region with visual acuity nothing seems positive. When we sermon in terms of their common delivery, they always bravado consistently that they will do this and that. The use of tricks applied by BJP in winning mandate in Jammu by exploiting sentiments of the voters at the root were intended to deceive, as a way of cheating to fulfill the lust for power. In politics, there are winners and losers. That's inevitable, just as it is in sports. In sports, those who don't play by the rules are ultimately eliminated. Likewise those who do not deliver while on musical chairs as per commitments and promises ultimately deserve to be eliminated from the scene. What surfaced during last three years is lying and lack of integrity.
They have mastered themselves in kidding the people by propagating campaigns as; vikas sushasan sankalap rallies 'booth management awareness rallies, Vistrak drives etc.
As a freelance writer, I feel it, as my duty to expose the shortfalls of our representatives in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies and to bring them into public domain to aware and awaken the society that we stand deceived in our choice of these representatives as such we must be careful in giving mandate to one as our representative. But at the same time as well-wisher of the party, I convey and advice the present representation, it is better for them to say 'Good - Bye' that is spoken as; "Hasta la Vista" in Spanish, "Adeus" in Portuguese and French, "Arrivederci" in Italian, "La revedere" in Romanian, "Auf Wiedersehen" in German, "Do svidaniya" in Russian and "Sayonara" in Japanese, (the mention in various languages is owing to the reason that which language they prefer or understand is not known to the public as public cry is unheard by them) honorably to the BJP party, as the party, itself feeling suffocated by their continuity but lust for power has sealed its lips, before the party and voters say to them 'Get - Lost' as they have lost the way. But it's okay to get lost every once in a while, sometimes getting lost is how we find ourselves. Moreover getting lost is not fatal. Almost every time, it will make your world. Meditation for consciousness is highly recommended for this fraternity as it is the individual who knows how little he know about himself and will recognize and stand the most reasonable chance of finding out something about themselves before they vanish.
