To appease Valley-based parties, BJP expels leader for opposing harassment of Hindus
Rassana case
3/26/2018 11:37:50 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 26: The BJP, after abandoning demand of handing over the Rassana murder case to CBI, has decided not to support those who are opposing unnecessary harassment of locals in the name of investigation in the case.
BJP, which claimed to be champion of protecting Hindus' interests in J&K, has expelled its state secretary Vijay Kumar from the party for supporting demand of the Hindus of Samba and Kathua districts to handover Rassana murder case to the CBI.
Vijay Kumar has been expelled from the party to appease PDP, NC and Hurriyat Conference because these parties are opposing handing over Rassana murder case to the CBI for fair trial.
Credible sources in the BJP said that a senior leader of the party was not happy with action of some local BJP leaders of Samba and Kathua districts who had opposed unnecessary torture and harassment of innocent people in the name of investigation in the Rassana case. "Instead of listening to the BJP legislators from Samba and Kathua districts, the leader gave importance to the opinion of PDP, NC and Hurriyat leaders, who have not uttered even a single word about torture of innocent people in the name Rassana investigation", sources said and added that it was all due to directions from the BJP leader and support from some pro-PDP ministers from BJP quota that Vijay Kumar was expelled from the party.
Vijay Kumar is heading Hindu Ekta Manch, which has launched agitation from handing over Rassana murder case to the CBI. PDP, NC and Hurriyat Conference leaderships have shown anger over activities of Hindu Ekta Manch because this Manch is trying to sabotage designs of these Kashmir based groups to communalize situation in Jammu also.
Hindu Ekta Manch has become eyesore for Kashmir based groups which are trying to set Jammu on fire by invoking sentiments of the people in the name of Rassana murder case.
The BJP has already sold Jammu's interests and is not ready to annoy Kashmir-based mainstream and separatist groups.
Since his childhood Vijay Kumar is associated with RSS and now he is active in the BJP for decades. Just to keep Kashmir based parties in good humour party expelled its dedicated and committed leader.
