Govt is not serious about safe return of KPs: JTC, SKF allege

JAMMU, Mar 26: A joint meeting of the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita President JTC/SKF J&K. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members and also Pardesh Congress Committee Migrant Cell (PCC) chairman H.L. Pandita, Kashi Nath Bhat, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Mithan Pandita, Satish Pandita was present in the meeting. During the course of meeting various issues were discussed in detail. While addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita has said that neither the Government of India nor state Government of J&K is sincere about the Return and Rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Migrant Community living life in exile for past about 29 years. Pandita has said that in case the Government had been interested in return and Rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community in Kashmir Valley Satellite townships should have been brought up in safe and secure places. Pandita has said that Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community is well interested in their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley provided three satellites townships are brought up near Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag to ensure their dignified living. Pandita has further said that in order to ensure return and rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community by implementing the Prime Ministers Employment package in its letter and spirit by providing job to educated Migrant unemployed youth particularly of those families who have remained ignored of employment benefits till date.
