2 killed in road mishap, bodies remain lying on road for 3 hours | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 31: Bodies of two persons who were killed in a road accident at Tanda area were remained on the road for around three hour as the administration failed to provide ambulance for the shifting of the bodies of deceased to SDH Akhnoor for post-mortem. Sources said that today around 9:30 am an unidentified tavera vehicle hit a scooty at tanda Akhnoor resulting onspot death of two persons. The deceased have been identified as Gansham son of Tirth Ram and Arun son of Rajesh Kumar alias Bittu. Sources said that the bodies left lying in the middle of road for more than 3 hours as the administration failed to provided ambulance for shifting if the bodies to the Hospital for post-mortem. Few cops forced the people to take bodies on load career whereas people started protesting on the road against the administration for their ignorance and negligence. Finally around 12:40 pm ambulance was provided to the dead bodies and the dead bodies were shifted to the SDH Akhnoor for post-mortem. |
