RAJOURI, Mar 31: Internationally acclaimed environmentalist, legal luminary and Magsaysay Awardee Padamshri M C Mehta in a programme at Rajouri launched the document depicting the major activities of Civic Movement Sangharsh for the last one decade since its foundation.
Brief Pamphlet also highlighted the Vision, aims and objectives of the movement.
Interacting during the launch, Mehta laid the emphasis that Sangharsh must pass long term resolution to make it as the move for clean and green environment. For such concerns we shall always render our full support at any extent, he added.
Mehta cautioned that excessive human intervention has caused absolute threat to the survival of all biotic creatures in our planet and has also immensely polluted the abiotic components which is the foundation of life on earth.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Govt PG College, Rajouri, Prof Jawed Qazi said that the Sangharsh has become most vibrant organization of the area and is playing its wonderful role in maintaining peace and harmony in the region besides other activities of welfare. |
