Jammu, Apr 17: Tennis, Chess, Carron, Speedball, Rifile shooting & weightlifting for the year 2018-19 of district Jammu gets underway today here at Indoor Complex M.A stadium Jammu.
Raman kumar of GGHS Sohanjana (U/17) and Shivam Singh of GGHS Simbal Camp (U/14) lift the Title of Carrom. In all 1500 boys are drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District are taking part in the competitions.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad , KAS, Director General, Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the tournament.
Earlier the competitions were declared open by Chanchal Kour District Youth services & Sports Officer Jammu.
Matches were officiated by Sanjay Khajuria, Vikram Jamwal, Vishal Bharti, Tarun Pal Singh, Amit Kalsi, Kamal Singh, Sunil Kumar, Sunny Dogra, Gurbachan Singh, Anil dogra & Ravinder Singh. |
