Fair investigation, justice not possible under degraded politics: MPEJ
4/17/2018 11:10:23 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) today said that legislation of stringent law to tackle rape, murder of minor and fair investigation, is not possible under corrupt and degraded politics in state.
The members of MPEJ expressed great shock over brutal shameful incident in which an eight years old girl was raped & murdered in Kathua District. They demanded that the killers & Rapists of Rassana murder case should award death penalty. They further said that the people of Jammu favour a fair investigation in the Rassana murder case & they have never supported any criminal in any way.
The demand of CBI probe made by the people of the region was also to seek justice for the victim and her family as well as that no innocent should be involved in the case and there was nothing harm in it. They also questioned the hue and cry raised by the parliamentarians belonging to various political parties in the Rajya Sabha and also in Lok Sabha in December 2012 over the gang rape incident of a girl student Damni in outskirts of Delhi and after that a brutal shameful incident in which a 5 years old child was sexually abused in Delhi.
They said that whole nation is wonder struck as to why these leaders don't make a stringent law or make amendment in the Cr Procedure code for giving capital punishment to the rapists of this type, instead of making hollow speeches like hanging of the culprits and demand of special session of J&K legislative Assembly to bring a bill to award capital punishment to those who rape minors.
