CEO recommends stringent action against erring headmasters 4/17/2018 11:11:06 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Apr 17: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri has decided to seek strict disciplinary action by Director School Education (Jammu)for the casual, non-serious approach of headmaster high school Tralla in Rajouri district. Ch Lal Hussain, CEO vide his office order dt 16/4/2018 has also suspended headmaster of Swari middle school for helping teachers to avail unauthorised leave. CEO office order said that that during surprise inspection of these schools by the CEO and School Monitoring and Inspection Team found that headmaster of Swari middle school had left the space unmarked in arrival register till 11 am on April 16. The academic standard of the school was also found very poor. "Headmaster of middle school ,Swari is placed under suspension with immediate effect for accommodating/facilitating the arrival/departure of the teachers at the cost of the students" mentioned in the CEO order. During inspection of high school at Tralla,CEO and his team found only 36 students out of 130 enrolled. They also noticed that the leave for 6 teachers was marked but they found only four leave applications in the school records. Moreover, headmaster had deliberately left the space unmarked in the arrival register in favour of one teacher for April 11 & 12, for another teacher on April 12 and considering third teacher on leave without any valid reason/leave application. CEO in his order has mentioned that headmaster of the school (Tralla)has miserably failed to discharge his duties and instead is busy in accommodating masters/ teachers at the cost of poor students. His case will be recommended to Director School Education for strict disciplinary action. Headmaster has also been asked to deduct salaries (for the day/days) in favour of those teachers whose attendance was unmarked in the arrival register.
