JAMMU, Apr 18: Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports, Sunil Sharma, who is also the president of Amateur Karate do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) today flagged off the sub junior karate team at Indoor multi-purpose hall to participate in KAI sub junior national karate championship to be held at Talkatotra Indoor Stadium New Delhi from April 20 to 22.
About 21 students from different districts of J&K are going to participate in the event. Rahil Gupta, vice president AKAJK, Ambedkar Gupta, general secretary and Ravi Singh Division Sports Officer (J) State Sports Council along with Satish Gupta, Indoor Stadium Manager along with the parents of the team memebrs were present on the occasion. Officials accompanying the team are Deepika Chauhan, Deepa Sharma, Charan Singh, Anil Sharma, Waseem Hassan and Saurav Mehra. |
