JAMMU, Apr 23: An induction programme of IGNOU study centre was convened at Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Digiana, Jammu. Sriman Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji, Sole Trustee, Sant Manjeet Singh Trust chaired the meeting. Dr. Sandeep Gupta, in-charge Regional Director, Dr. Asha Upadhya, Assistant Regional Director along with other officers of IGNOU Regional Centre, Dara Singh and Rakesh Koul attended the meeting. Dr Sandeep highlighted the mission and values of IGNOU study centre. Dr Asha apprised the students about the induction programme, the facilities available and parameters to be followed in taking up the programme. The new IGNOU study Code 12127 was sanctioned at Sant Mela Singh College of Education. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Chairman, MBS College, Chairman, SRS Degree College, Chairman, Guru Harkrishan Public School, Dr. Jaswant Singh, S. Arjan Singh, Liaison Officer along with Chairman, Principal and staff of Sant Mela Singh College of Education. Students seeking admission were also present. Earlier Dr. Kiran Luthra Principal of college welcomed the guests while as Inderjeet Kour Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks. |
