Jammu, Apr 23: Amidst clear indications that BJP ministers would be reshuffled and some of them may be dropped, the incumbent ministers during the past few days have issued many unprecedented orders as their parting shots. After Forest Department, the Health and Medical Education Department has also joined the race. Apparently for the first time, a unique order has been issued by the Health and Medical Education Department, according to which transfers of seven doctors, have been modified in the so called "Interest of administration".
Even as transfer orders were modified earlier but this time around the order pertains to modifications only. It can easily be gauged that order has been modified in the "interest of individuals" and not in the "interest of administration."
All these Medical Officers and Specialists have been placed at better positions.
It is pertinent to mention here that health centers and hospitals in remote and rural areas are facing acute shortage of doctors and medical staff. The modified has raised many eyebrows in the Health and Medical Education Department amidst allegations that money has been received for the same. |
