Udhampur, Apr 23: People of village Ladha-Dhar staged protest demonstration against shortage of teachers in Government High School Theni-Dhar, Zone Chennai District Udhampur where three teachers are posted against sanctioned strength of 12 teachers.
The protest held under the supervision of Dewan Singh Thakur , Ex Panch & S S Thakur (Retd Officer ) against Education Department and District Administration Udhampur for totally ignoring their far flung area. He said that there are only 3 teachers in this Govt High School Theni -Dhar , having enrollment almost 250 students whereas Department has attached some influential teachers from this school thus making poor public to suffer a lot.
The protesters informed that study of the students has badly suffered due to acute shortage of staff as the three teachers have also to perform other duties like ODF campaign, BLO duties, official Dak, so students remain unattended & totally blank . Beside this it is not possible for 3 teachers to teach ten classes regularly. People said that they approached District administration as well as CEO Udhampur but got nothing except assurance . They also appealed to the CEO Udhampur & DC Udhampur to make suitable provision of staff. |
