Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 23: On the first day of three day Kam Choro/Pen Down Hartal the Clerical Cadre across the state observed complete Kam Choro Hartal on the call given by coordination committee Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association to protest against the recent statement of the Finance Minister in a television interview wherein he has categorically refused to remove the Pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre with the implementation of 7th Pay Commission and the State Government for failing in implementing its agreement /Court Judgments for removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre. . In Jammu teams led by Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bhau, Bharat Bushan, Anil Mehta, Sukhbir Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Ashok Singh, Yash Paul Sharma, Bharat Bushan Kotwal, Meenakshi Shama, Ravi Kumar, Mohd Saleem, Mohd Latief, Onkar Verma, Arun Shama, Ansuya Gupta, Umar Jan, Sewa Ram Rathore, Kuldeep Kotwal, Farida Bano, Yash Sharma, Kirpal Singh, Vikas Chander, Mukhtiyar Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Kirpal Singh, Mohd Sadiq, Naresh Sharma, Om parkash, Sandeep Singh, Shamsher Singh, Darshan Angurana, Sham Lal, Ali Mohd Uday Singh Pathania, Vijay Kumar, Mangal Singh and others hold protest demonstrations at various Offices located in Jammu. The protesting employees appealed the state government to issue orders for removal of pay anomalies (5th Pay Commission) while granting the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, Rs.4500-7000 to Senior Assistant, and Rs 5500-9000 to Head Assistant. Notionally w.e.f. 01-01-1996 and monetary w.e.f 19-02-2003 as has already granting in favour of other cadres. Addressing the clerical cadre at Panama Chowk, Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bahu condemned the anti employees and workers policies of the state government for not implementation of agreements/commitments carried out. They said that instead of issuing orders, the government had delayed the things. |
