pouni, Apr 23: Government Girls High School Pouni in District Reasi under the guidelines of Bishen Singh Jaral Chief Education Officer, Reasi and supervision of ZEO Gopal Krishan Komal, Prabh Dyal ZEPO and Vaishno Devi Head Master celebrated World Earth's Day in the school premises. In the programme Eco Club of the School under the stewardship of Rasveer Singh Master and Sanjeev Kumar coordinator Eco club of the School organized various programmes in three days campaign in which students at-large participated in essay writing competition, poster making and slogan writing competition, sanitation of school premises along with the plantation of plants of medical nature besides lectures focusing on the very famous slogan "Go Green" and "Plant more and more trees Vaishno Devi.
The head of the institution while presenting vote of thanks asked the students to adopt eco friendly measures to save the earth from drastic changes like global warming etc. Pavleen and Guntas of 10th class excelled in slogan writing while as Tabassum and Firdous of 9th class excelled in Essay writing competition. In poster making competition Parwinder Kour of 10th registered her supremacy. |
