Jammu, May 25: Dogra Mandal and Nami Dogri Sanstha organised a Multilingual Sahityak Goshthi at Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Parani Mandi, Jammu. Kahani, Gazal, Geet and Poetry was recited. The literary meet was presided over by Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha and the podium was co-shared by Randhir Singh Raipuria, President, Dogra Mandal. Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary, Nami Dogri Sanstha compered the proceedings of the literary meet. Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila in his address stated that Literary endeavours of various literary organisations working for the cause of Dogri language can only achieve their objectives once the government also fulfils its obligations. Coordinated and collective efforts of the literary organisations and the government can only enable a language to get its legitimate due.
He urged upon the Government to immediately introduce as compulsory subjective in the school syllabus right from KG Class up to 12th class. He said learning of mother tongue in right prospective enables the person to learn other languages easily and perfectly.
Randhir Singh Raipuria in his address described the literary meet successful. He appreciated the quality literary items read in the Goshthi. He applauded NDS for providing a healthy platform for the young and budding artists and writers to express themselves.
