| GHSS Jagti sans teaching staff, principal | | | EarlyTimes Report
JAMMU, May 30: Pathetic approach of Education Department can be gauged from the fact that the hapless Kashmiri Pandit migrant students have been left in lurch as Government Higher Secondary School Jagti has been rendered headless besides it sans the teaching staff in vital streams.
Sources said due to attachment and transfer mania prevailing in the department, teaching staff has managed to serve at choicest places by using their good offices resulting in tremendous shortage of the staff in the school alleged the social activist Sunil Pandita while talking to EarlyTimes, adding the migrant students of Jagti camp have been the worst sufferers and Government seems to be unmoved over the burning issue.
Sunil also lambasted Relief Organization authorities for neglecting the Kashmiri migrant students of their legitimate right of Education which failed to recommend requisite teaching staff for the school despite repeated requests.
It is said that GHSS Jagti is being run presently without the principal besides lecturers of various important streams including physics,chemistry, mathematics, sociology, physical education, Hindi and Urdu for the last several months alleged the locals. |
