J&K Grameen Bank conducted 173 camps in three days

Jammu, June 5: J&K Grameen Bank participating in the financial literacy week on the theme of consumer protection with the conduct of 173 financial literacy programmes across the state in three days to percolate the financial literacy in every unbanked nook and corner.
The theme of the Financial Literacy Week is to create awareness among theme consumers of financial services about their rights, responsibilities, good practices and resolution mechanism in a fast changing digital financial land scale.
K.L. Sharma, Regional Manager Jammu, J&K Grameen Bank has attended two financial literacy camps one at Kishtwar and other at Dhool.
He along with various Bank employees aware the customers by the various aids like charts, pamphlets, videos etc.
Among 173 camps conducted by J&K Grameen Bank 43 camps are conducted in Jammu district, 32 in Rajouri/Poonch, 29 in Kathua/Samba, 27 in Baramulla, 24 in Bandipora, 18 in Kupwara district. Thousands of people attended the programmes. Flyers in local languages i.e., English, Hindi, Urdu have been distributed among them regarding the awareness about fraud and forgery. The main aim of J&K Grameen Bank is to reach common man during Financial Literacy Week. The customers are being educated by the various aids like charts, pamphlets, videos etc.
