SIE issues date sheet of Term I exams for class 5th to 9th

sRINAGAR, June 9: The State Institute of Education (SIE) Kashmir has issued date sheet for term-I examination of students from class 5th to 9th. As per the date sheet the term first -June session exams for class 5th to 7th will commence from June 25 and will culminate on July 4.
The exams for students of class 8th to 9th will commence from June 26 and will end on July 8 respectively.
As per the SIE notification, the timing for the exams has been fixed at 1pm.
"The candidates shall take their examination at the complex heads and centres identified by the concerned Principal of district institute of education and training (DIETs)," the notification reads.
The Principal DIETs have been asked to ensure that conduct and evaluation is done simultaneously for timely declaration of results so that the remedial interventions for potential learners shall be started well in time.
"The Principal DIETs will ensure the parent teacher meet especially with the parents of potential learners and will apprise them regarding the learning levels of their wards," the notification issued by SIE principal Mehboob Hussain reads.
The concerned cluster Principals have been directed to supervise the evaluation process as notified in government order number 338 Edu of 2016 "and Principal DIETs will adhere strictly the instruction regarding the evaluation process."
