| Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum holds monthly meeting | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, June 17: The monthly meeting of the District Udhampur unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum, was held at Udhampur today under the leadership of Ashok Sharma, the District President. The speakers hailed the Government for upgradation of Middle and High Schools respectively to High and Hr Sec Sc Schools and according sanction to the requisite staff for these schools. They demanded posting of staff in these newly upgraded schools at the earliest.
They demanded that the benefit of Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme (Running Pattern) be extended to the lecturers and officers of the Plus 2 Cadre. They urged the Minister for School Education to intervene in the matter and get this benefit extended to the Plus 2 Cadre. The members also demanded that the orders of regularisation of Incharge incumbents of the School Education Department be issued at the earliest. They also demanded rationalisation of staff in schools and earned leave in favour of the staff engaged for the conduct of exams by JKBOSE during summer/winter breaks. They said that the process of transfer be completed before the start of academic session and no transfers should be effected in the mid session. They demanded the issuance of orders pertaining to the release of salaries in respect of surplus lecturers and promotion of Lecturers to Sr Lecturers, Sr Lecturers to Principals and other levels to fill up the large no of vacancies in the School Edu Department. |
