Mark sheet of aspirant Associate Prof allegedly forged
Sycophant tires to hush up issue
6/18/2018 12:19:28 AM
Early Times Report

Srinagar, June 17: An alleged administrative blunder, committed by the controversial doctor of the GMC Jammu, came to the limelight wherein mark sheet of a doctor, who had applied for the post of Associate Professor in Community Medicine Department, appears tempered. A known sycophant involved in the issue is leaving no stone to hush up the matter.
One glaring blunder came to fore when one Dr. Bhavna Sahni had applied for the post of Associate Professor in community medicine department under SRO-384 and appeared for the interview to be chaired by Principal Secretary HME with Principal GMC, HOD concerned specialty and Expert as its members. Marks roll reveals that HOD concerned awarded 7/10 marks to the candidate and the expert awarded 8/10 marks to the candidate but interestingly, the mark sheet of the HOD concerned appears tampered. The candidate was rejected in spite of securing 75 percent (15/20) marks in the viva.
One Ravi Kant Aggarwal filed RTI and got information from PIO GMC Jammu. In pursuance of directions by the commission has given vide its interim order dated 16-4-2018 the PIO has filed the written statement indicating that the appellant was not considered for selection on account of her ineligibility for want of two year's Demonstrator-ship.
It has also been submitted that the expert and the concerned HOD were of the contrary opinion regarding the eligibility of the candidate during the interaction/interview and they recorded their marks on the award/mark sheet.
However, Commissioner Secretary HME being the Chairman of the Committee along with PMC, Jammu took the final call declaring the appellant as not eligible. The PIO also produced a copy of the award sheet signed by Dr. Dinesh Kumar, and expert, Dr. VK Bhan of Batra Hospital. In this award sheet, the expert Dr. VK Bhan has in the remarks column declared Dr. Bhavna Sahni selected with "8" marks out of "10". In award sheet of Dr. Dinesh Kumar, there is seen some interpolations.
Besides, the same doctor also had tried to spoil the carrier of then MD perusing doctor in Pharmacology Department a few years back and allegedly harassed by him related to thesis matter.
It has also been learnt that now this man along with its coterie is trying to shift their loyalty to some other senior faculty member who is in the panel of Principal's list. As long as absurd activities of such sycophants are not carved at the appropriate level, GMC Jammu & Its faculty shall go on suffering and this premier institute shall further lose its prestigious image.
