Early Times Report
Jammu, June 17: By ending its unilaterial ceasefire this evening, the Union Government headed by the nationalist BJP has admitted that its decision to suspend anti-terror operartion in J&K was ill-advised and wrong. Despite ending month long cease-fire Union Government has already compromised with the security of the nation and allowed terrorists to strength themselves and regrouped.
But the bigger question, who had advised the central government to announce ceasefire to facilitate terror groups to strength and intensified attack on peace loving people of J&Kand security forces. During the month of ceasefire security forces were especially targeted and terrorists were succeeded in creating terror among media persons and locals youth who have been serving in different security forces including the Army.
During BJP's ceasefire the Indian Army has lost one of its brave soldier Aurangzeb and reposibility of death of the valiant soldier is on those who had announced ceasefire to appease separatist groups.
Forced to withdrawn ceasefire, Union Home Ministry in a statement issued this evening, said , after taking in view all aspects of security in the state, the government of India has decided that security agencies to "resume operations against terrorists".
In its order the MHA said, "Security forces are being directed take all necessary actions as earlier to prevent terrorists from launching attacks and indulging in violence and killings. The government will continue with its endeavour to create an environment free of terror and violence in Jammu & Kashmir. It is important that all sections of peace loving people come together to isolate terrorists and motivate those who are misguided to return to the path of peace."
On May 17, the Centre took the decision that the security forces will not conduct offensive operations in the state during the holy month of Ramzan. "This decision was taken in the interests of the peace loving people of J&K, in order to provide them a conducive atmosphere to observe Ramzan," the MHA said in the statement.
