| Villagers resent appointment of Anganwari Worker | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, June 25: Inhabitants of far flung village Sanglani of Bafliaz block of Poonch today accused Project Officer Integrated Child Development Scheme Rajouri-Poonch of appointing an Anganwari Workers in said village without required documents.
According to the sources, the said anganwari workers is the permanent resident of Bafliaz who passed her 6th class examination in 1999 and got permanent resident certificate in 2018 and then PO of ICDS Rajouri-Poonch had appointed her as anganwari workers in 1998 in Sanglani village. Locals of the area have expressed their anguish over the pick and choose policy of the such corrupt officers and said, "if the eligibility for AWW is minimum 10th pas and permanent resident of the state especially of that habilitation, then why and on which base has PO engaged her from other village without required documents"?
They have appealed to Director social welfare department Jammu to take appropriate action against said officer and make recovery of honorarium and nutrition provided for Anganwari Center Sanglani. |
