Kishtwar, June 26: Ramban police today denied the allegations of a lady complainant who alleged police inaction in a complaint filed by her against one Auqab Shah son of Mohammad Iqbal Shah Resident of Seri Ramban. Senior Police Officer while reacting to news item published in Early Times, said that police has registered an FIR against the accused person on the bases of the complaint filed by the girl along with her mother and added that after registration of an FIR No. 91/2018 U/S 509' 354 RPC, the accused was accordingly arrested, but was later bailed out by the court. He said that police is still investigating the case and added that if at any stage police found any further evidences in the instant case, the FIR will be augmented in accordance to the law. He said that at the time of the release, the accused was directed not to try to influence the investigation of the case and further said that under such circumstances, police will approach the court for cancellation of the bail. |
