Jammu, June 27: On its 24th foundation day, Samooh Theatre, today organised a Natya Path (a play reading ) of Nadira zaheer 's world famous play 'Ji Jaisi aap ki Marzi' in hindustani , here at K L saigal hall,cultural Academy , Jammu.
The play was read as just like performance by the senior actress of the state Veena Dogra and noted theatre actor director Dr. Sudhir Mahajan. While presenting the four women characters of different ages the artists used full flow of unbroken energy and all the actor's tools in term of voice and speech with the amalgations of all the nine rassas prescribed in the Bhart Muni 's Natya shastra for portray of any character ,mundane and the heavenly as well.
The play depicts the story of 4 women of different ages and from different socio -Cultural and religious backgrounds narrate their litany of woes which communicated to audience by the magic of speech by both the artists. It is also need to mention here that the play ji Jaisi aap ki marzi most celebrated play and has won accolades from audience aroun the world already. Besides , women wing also celebrated the 24th foundation at its centre at Purkoo camp where Anita chandpuri and Dr.Sudhir Mahajan distributed a stationary items to the children belong to under privilege class. |
