Amarnath Ji Yatra welcomed at Ramban

Ramban, June 27: On inaugural day of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2018 the Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Ravinder Sadhu and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal, today welcomed the Yatries at Nashri. The ADDC was accompanied ACR, Vevaik Puri and other concerned officers of civil and police administration. ADDC alongwith officers interacted with the yatries to have the first hand information regarding the facilities at the Langars besides inspecting the Langers situated all along the Jammu-Srinagar NHW today.
ADDC informed that administration has made adequate arrangements with regard to stay and the security of the yatries, provisions for boarding and lodging in case of any halt of yatra and helplines have been set up and arranged round-the-clock emergency medical facilities.
He asked the officers as well as the Langer managers to take all measures to prevent the traffic snarls near their Langars to avoid any inconvenience to the yatries and other passengers as well. The Langer managers were directed to follow the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure smooth service in the Langers.
Meantime he also reviewed the arrangements for security, sanitation, water, electricity, fire safety and health facilities being provided to the yatries. He directed the concerned officers to ensure all basic and essential facilities for the convenience of the yatries.c
